What a ride!

Did you know I’ve fluctuated from 101lbs to 187lbs? Yes, I WAS a human roller coaster. At my thinnest, I was not considered healthy at all. In fact, I was struggling with eating disorders, feeling uneasy in my own skin, starving myself and wishing my body looked different. With no grasp on how to change that destructive behavior, I did the next worse thing…a complete 360°. I shot up to my all-time high of 187lbs (my personal rock-bottom). It took me a VERY long time to realize that my true transformation had to begin from within by fully loving myself. That’s when something truly AMAZING happened to my nutrition, body image, and commitment to exercise. It all started to fall into place. 💕 I learned just how VALUABLE it was to honor myself and share my struggles to help others. I pressed play every day, chose healthier meals and shared my story. That’s how my lifelong struggle became a really AMAZING lesson in perseverance.

I know the pain of not feeling comfortable in your own skin (thin and overweight) but I also know there is light at the end of the tunnel. And it’s my MISSION to help you find YOUR LIGHT!

Coach Talk

I always used to believe that if I got disgusted enough with my body, I would eventually build up the DRIVE to change it. What really happened is, I would feel worse about myself and would ramp up my self-sabotaging behaviors. That’s because I was focusing on NEGATIVITY as fuel instead of POSITIVITY.

I soon realized as simple as it sounds, to make positive changes you must take positive and consistent ACTION. 💛

Your thoughts are EVERYTHING!

Your thoughts are EVERYTHING. Wouldn’t you agree? Some people succeed and some people don’t. The difference? Their thoughts and beliefs about themselves. Success is a mindset. Those that want it bad enough already envision themselves succeeding. Those that don’t, will see the wagon they plan to fall off of before they’ve even fallen. At the end of the day, it all comes down to your thoughts.

Living Healthy

Living healthy and responsibly can be difficult, inconvenient and won’t always make you the most popular person at parties, I know, lol. Ultimately, though, it is those healthy decisions that will prove to be wisest because what you ingest as well as your actions literally alter your body, state of mind, emotions, and consciousness (good and bad).

Have a Plan In Place

It would be great if everything were to go according to plan. Like having healthy meals prepared, not hitting the snooze button when the alarm goes off and getting those workouts in first thing in the morning. But let’s get real, there will be hiccups so you might as well find a backup plan.

Don’t give up on your health and fitness just because you had a change in your schedule. Adapt, adjust, and make every effort to stick to your plan!

Get What You Put In

In order to experience true heath and fitness, you must give attention in those areas. There is no way around that.

Obtaining a fit body will never ever come from a fad diet, wrap, surgery, pill or injection. Health comes from what you put in your mouth and how you move your body. The body you desire will never come from a quick fix. Success will come from living authentically healthy in all aspects of your life.

If you attempt to cheat with a pill or fad diet, the best you can hope for is a smaller dress size. Don’t expect health. You deserve much more than that and you owe it to yourself.

So go ahead do the work, give it your best and you’ll get in return a life that’s healthy and fit and increasingly satisfying.
