Fight for your Health

I know in the midst of the alarm clock blaring it’s hard to feel motivated. Especially when results aren’t happening as fast as intended. Sometimes the feelings move past frustration and go straight into downright defeat. This is the time where thoughts like, “what’s the use” dominate your mind. Put this defeatist attitude in check. Don’t let the negative mental game with yourself take over. You’ve got to FIGHT. With what you ask? Patience, dedication, and consistency! A habit of healthy eating and exercise WILL undoubtedly produce results. So focus not only on the end goal, but the daily goals that can be achieved at this very moment.

Wake Up Earlier

You must make sacrifices. Set your alarm for 30 minutes earlier. Force yourself to jump out of bed as soon as your alarm goes off. Then next week, set it for an hour earlier instead of 30 minutes. Now you have an extra 7 hours a week to dedicate to your health and fitness Imagine how much more time you’d have if you gave up some things you know that are either not good for you or simply just a waste of time!

What a ride!

Did you know I’ve fluctuated from 101lbs to 187lbs? Yes, I WAS a human roller coaster. At my thinnest, I was not considered healthy at all. In fact, I was struggling with eating disorders, feeling uneasy in my own skin, starving myself and wishing my body looked different. With no grasp on how to change that destructive behavior, I did the next worse thing…a complete 360°. I shot up to my all-time high of 187lbs (my personal rock-bottom). It took me a VERY long time to realize that my true transformation had to begin from within by fully loving myself. That’s when something truly AMAZING happened to my nutrition, body image, and commitment to exercise. It all started to fall into place. 💕 I learned just how VALUABLE it was to honor myself and share my struggles to help others. I pressed play every day, chose healthier meals and shared my story. That’s how my lifelong struggle became a really AMAZING lesson in perseverance.

I know the pain of not feeling comfortable in your own skin (thin and overweight) but I also know there is light at the end of the tunnel. And it’s my MISSION to help you find YOUR LIGHT!
